. . . will now return to normal (whatever that is). Thank heavens this week is over for me. I was overwhelmed with work and with radio business to top it all off.

Next week I have two deadlines, but that's positive because it will put me into a more 'writerly' mood, more contemplation, as it were.

Samson, the author of numerous op-eds, analytical pieces, journal articles, and electronic updates on missile defense and space security matters, provides an objective assessment of U.S. policy.

. . . technology is a blessing and sometimes it's a curse. Tonight on the radio show it was a curse. The first half of the radio show went off without a hitch, we had a caller and it was a good segment, especially the part where Ian and I got into issues about the Horn Of Africa. The second half of the show started off quite well, the discussion was very fascinating and then I got dropped and the show ended in a cacophony of competing questions, "can you guys hear me? Hey! Can y'all hear me?"

We'll try it again this Thursday with Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio and pray I don't get dropped. In the meantime the archive of tonight's show is here.
