Buggy Whips Come Roaring Back

Buggy whips, long-time objects of derision from college accounting faculty teaching the costs and problems of holding outdated inventory, are once again viable. With the costs of oil production soaring, and with world supplies of petroleum reaching scarcity, transportation planners are looking to encourage production of buggies and therefore buggy whips.

The emergency need for buggy whips has spawned a worldwide search for supplies left over and stored at the beginning of the automobile age.

Anatomy of a Cabinet coup: how Blairite ministers tried to remove Brown

Patrick Hennessy and Melissa Kite | June 6

Sunday Telegraph -
Over three days last week a group of senior ministers, with a degree of co-ordination and timing, severely damaged the Prime Minister and came close to toppling him.

The background to the plot began less than two years ago, when Mr Brown he took over from Tony Blair. He offered Government jobs to a number of leading supporters of the former prime minister in a bid to heal the damaging divisions of the old TB-GB wars that had scarred Mr Blair's premiership. Many of those who accepted – including James Purnell, David Miliband, Hazel Blears, John Denham and Caroline Flint – did so despite their profound doubts over Mr Brown's suitability as Prime Minister.

As time went on – and Mr Brown's time at Number 10 lurched from crisis to crisis – those doubts grew. Last summer Mr Miliband had the chance to strike against Mr Brown after writing a provocative newspaper article, but failed to so.

Since the Telegraph itself has been instrumental in trying to topple Brown, I've marked this as 'unproven'. It's an interesting read, whether fact or fiction

STOP THE PRESSES! BILDERBERG AGENDA EXPOSED!

Just in from American Free Press.
I love the adverts at the bottom of the page, Gideons, Scriptures for America, Poem of the Man God, Miracles of St Joseph...

AFP’s (heh ~graham) editor crashed the secret meeting of the global elite and uncovered some scary schemes.

Bilderberg boys are a bunch of grumpy old men but remain fiercely dedicated to usurping sovereignty in the United States and throughout the world. Patriots can celebrate their setbacks but never let up: Bilderberg still threatens the sovereignty of all nations while fighting for world government.

{tinfoil}Annual Elite Meeting May 14-17{/tinfoil}

Here are a few of the talking points and concerns for this year’s meeting:

•The future of the US dollar and US economy: The plan is for the Bilderberg Group players, through their allies in Washington and Wall Street to continue to deceive millions of savers and investors who believe the hype about the supposed up-turn in the economy. They are about to be set up for massive losses and searing financial pain in the months ahead. The bank “stress tests” now being conducted by Washington are little more than a shameless hoax: Based on the irrational assumption that the economy won’t get as bad as it already is!

Iran accuses Netherlands of overthrow plot: report

Tehran | April 11

AFP - Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards has accused the Netherlands of plotting to overthrow the Islamic regime by supporting the opposition through the media and the Internet, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

"One of the countries which has given financial support to the opposition over the past few years is Holland," according to a statement issued by a centre run by the Guards, the Khorasan newspaper said.

It said the parliament in the Netherlands had in 2005 adopted a 15 million euro budget proposed by a Dutch MP of Iranian origin which was used to fund Persian Internet sites hostile to the Islamic regime and to help rights groups.

Bavarian Illuminati Conspiracy uncovered by Oklahoma lawmaker

Behold: The Synthesis...

Reading the OKGazette over a ribeye steak at Bev's Restaurant, I chortled at finding this:

Oklahoma lawmaker talks about plotting diabolical forces

State Rep. Mike Ritze, R-Broken Arrow (Oklahoma) ...His 'revelation' of the 'Bavarian Illuminati Conspiracy' is one story, but for me, this interview is itself another in that he, a Republican Oklahoma lawmaker, actually spoke out publicly about such things as war profiteering, Halliburton, no-bid contracts, et al.

Clinton tipped for secretary of state

Ian Munro | New York | November 14

Sydney Morning Herald - Speculation is mounting in the US that Hillary Clinton could take control of the country's foreign affairs policy as president-elect Barack Obama considers her for his secretary of state.

Senator Clinton lost the Democratic Party nomination to Senator Obama, but she is understood to be a strong candidate for foreign affairs, along with the decorated war hero Senator John Kerry.

The former first lady flew to Senator Obama's home city of Chicago on Thursday on what her office described as "personal business". The New York senator is reportedly in strong contention for the role.

Both NBC News and The Washington Post reported that Senator Clinton was in the running for the most senior diplomatic post, and the current affairs website Politico.com reported that several senior advisers to Senator Obama were supporting her for the position.

Russia unexpectedly closed its air space for a moment and forced air planes to land causing a delay of 3 hours. Somehow I assume that there will be no more truthful information on the incident.

And has the UFO over Viet Nam already identified publicly?

follow me down the rabbit hole

i remember posting the question a few months back when the catholic church decided it was necessary to announce that you can believe in both gOD and aliens. i remember asking "what's coming, what are they preparing for?"

well, i think i know now. the entire purpose of the pheonix mission is to find out if life could, or does exist on mars. if the average person were to suddenly find out that life does in fact exist, or had existed at one time on a foreign planet, they would no longer be able to rationalize christianity. christianity doesn't allow for life on other planets. the bible clearly says....

Bush 'may convert to Catholicism' (Rumor)

Peter Popham | Rome | June 14

The Independent - President George Bush was given such a splendid welcome by Pope Benedict XVI yesterday that rumours started flying that the President, like Tony Blair before him, was on the verge of converting to Catholicism.

It was a Vatican visit such as no other head of state has ever enjoyed. Instead of greeting him, like all previous high-ranking visitors, in the papal library of the Apostolic Palace, the Pope took Mr Bush round the medieval St John's Tower then gave him a tour of the Vatican gardens, culminating in a brief open-air concert by the Sistine Chapel Choir.

"Killeroos" Escape Aussie Military Compound

By Phil O'Leary, Military Correspondent

Sydney (Morning Wallaby) - Hopping mad and looking for revenge, a pair of weaponized kangaroos escaped a secret military compound outside Sydney, Australia Sunday evening.

Authorities remained mum on the subject, but a nearby barkeep was more than happy to oblige.

"We wuz chock-a-block with customers, mate, when all of a sudden, in barges these two surly buggin' roo's. I asks 'em what they want, and you should'a seen the look they gave me...alls me regulars starts creepin' out the back, an' I feels a trickle of sweat drip right down me mug."

The barkeep, Bud "Sharktooth" O'Mally, stood his ground, refusing to serve the rogue marsupials, who eventually took the hint and buggered off.

(disproven story) Brit spies confirm Dalai Lama's report of staged violence?

Gordon Thomas | London | March 21

Canada Free Press - Britain's GCHQ, the government communications agency that electronically monitors half the world from space, has confirmed the claim by the Dalai Lama that agents of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the PLA, posing as monks, triggered the riots that have left hundreds of Tibetans dead or injured.

GCHQ analysts believe the decision was deliberately calculated by the Beijing leadership to provide an excuse to stamp out the simmering unrest in the region, which is already attracting unwelcome world attention in the run-up to the Olympic Games this summer.

For weeks there has been growing resentment in Lhasa, Tibet's capital, against minor actions taken by the Chinese authorities.

...But from this reporter’s perspective it is Dieter Snell himself who ought to be in the hot seat answering questions, not about a petty state corruption probe but questions that go to the heart of the greatest mass murder in U.S. history: 9/11.

It was just four years ago Saturday, March 15th, 2004, when Snell led me into a windowless conference room at 26 Federal Plaza, the building that houses the FBI’s New York Office (NYO). It w

'JFK assassination plot' papers found in Dallas safe

James Orr | February 18

The Guardian - A transcript claiming to detail Lee Harvey Oswald's plot to assassinate President John F Kennedy has been discovered in an old courtroom safe.

The record – described as reading like a conspiracy theorist's dream - appears to minute talks between Oswald and Jack Ruby, who killed Oswald after Kennedy's assassination.

Today, the Dallas County district attorney's office said other documents found included letters from former district attorney Henry Wade, the prosecuting lawyer in Ruby's trial.

But the apparent record of the conversation between Oswald and Ruby was probably fake, said the district attorney, Craig Watkins, and was instead likely to be long-forgotten material for a proposed film.

Oswald says in the transcript: "I can still do it, all I need is my rifle and a tall building; but it will take time, maybe six months to find the right place; but I'll have to have some money to live on while I do the planning."

The evils of Digital TV

This is the official sappy government FCC site touting the "benefits" of digital TV.
http://www.dtv.gov/

Note all of the marketing hype. I can become a "DTV Deputy". I can get info in spanish. Note how the entire site is geared towards the simplemindedness of a five year old. To me at least it is chock full of subliminals diverting your focus away from the Satanicness it will bring. In order to get to this let's click on the FAQ section on the left, that stupid looking TV remote control. After that go to Why are we switching to digital TV. Here is the answer.

"An important benefit of the switch to all-digital broadcasting is that it will free up parts of the valuable broadcast spectrum for public safety communications (such as police, fire departments, and rescue squads). Also, some of the spectrum will be auctioned to companies that will be able to provide consumers with more advanced wireless services (such as wireless broadband). "

Al Jazeera Cameraman to be freed from Guantanamo?

Cuba | January 14

Sami al-Hajj has been held as an ''enemy combatant'' by the US forces since 2001. He has never been charged. He is one of about 20 prisoners who have carried out hunger strikes in protest of their imprisonment and treatment at the US jail. Asma Ismailov, the wife of Sami al-Hajj, the Al-Jazeera cameraman held in Guantanamo Bay, has said that she has been told he is to be freed.

Al-Hajj has been held as an "enemy combatant" by the US forces since 2001.

Lord, I hope this is true, but it hasn't yet been reported elsewhere.

Spank Your Satan!

I smell a video game.

The Pope has ordered his bishops to set up exorcism squads to tackle the rise of Satanism.

Vatican chiefs are concerned at what they see as an increased interest in the occult.

They have introduced courses for priests to combat what they call the most extreme form of "Godlessness."

Each bishop is to be told to have in his diocese a number of priests trained to fight demonic possession.

Daily Mail

This year Vatican Entertainment(TM) will release GodSquad 2008, which will feature a team of crack Vatican exorcists armed with a variety of weapons, from the ever-popular BFG (Biggus Fictitious Godsmackdownus) to the new HST (Holy Shit Taser), which packs a wholloping 500,000 Watts of sin-cleansing, demon-detonating, Papal-approved power.

US Nuked Syria?

Rather serious if true:

The September 6 raid over Syria was carried out by the US Air Force, the Al-Jazeera Web site reported Friday. The Web site quoted Israeli and Arab sources as saying that two US jets armed with tactical nuclear weapons carried out an attack on a suspected nuclear site under construction.

Low Buzz May Give Mice Better Bones and Less Fat

Gina Kolata | October 30

NYT - Dr. Clinton Rubin, director of the Center for Biotechnology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, is reporting that in mice, a simple treatment that does not involve drugs appears to be directing cells to turn into bone instead of fat.

All he does is put mice on a platform that buzzes at such a low frequency that some people cannot even feel it. The mice stand there for 15 minutes a day, five days a week. Afterward, they have 27 percent less fat than mice that did not stand on the platform — and correspondingly more bone.
