The Agonist - CJR Daily reports that "[the] San Francisco's board of supervisors will soon vote on a measure that would "require local bloggers to register with the city Ethics Commission and report all blog-related costs that exceed $1,000 in the aggregate." As Dan Gillmor, the Godfather of blogging if ever there were one says, "Can [San Francisco] be serious?" The Personal Democracy Forum says, "maybe." Chris Nolan teases out the issue more. Update: Kos has the details so if you are interested, make the calls.
