Checked out his site. Looks interesting. Does he participate as well as read on the Agonist?

Don December 27, 2005 - 11:34am

He probably already has his songs lined out. But Hometown Boy, one of his older songs, really has a thing or two to say we all need to hear, and it is as pertinent today as it was the day he wrote it.

One of the verses deals with a brother (fictional, I'd assume) gone to war in Iraq (the first war).

Killed by friendly fire with bullets made a few miles from his own home.

All he ever wanted was his own piece of ground. Now it's three feet wide and six feet down, all he ever wanted was his own piece of ground...

105 is one of my current favorites.

Don December 28, 2005 - 5:30pm

Does it normally take a long time to load or was I too impatient?

SilverOwl December 29, 2005 - 8:02pm

Don December 29, 2005 - 11:18am

I missed most of the show but was very happy to get to hear him.

Tina December 29, 2005 - 3:10pm

a good musician gets more done in a few lyrics than the rest of do with mountains of words.

Guy is a lefty, but he loves America and it really comes out when you hear him sing.

Don December 29, 2005 - 5:24pm

Guy is a lefty, but he loves America

Sounds like an apology Don ;) Maybe I'll get lucky and get a free cd tonight:)

Tina December 29, 2005 - 6:22pm
