Senior regulator let IndyMac lie to feds.

This won't be the last such incident.

Maybe for this guy it's the last...

but apparently it wasn't the first...

I have the feeling that any prosecutions that might arise over the coming year or so will involve defendants who have been 'misbehaving' in similar fashion, for years, maybe decades.

to me, that's depressing, and irritating at the same time.....

Whipping boy...

have to go back a few hundred years...

Whipping boys were people selected to take the punishment for nobles who were found guilty of infractions that the Law required punishment to expiate.

Can't have my noble ass scarred by a withy-wand, right?

grrrr....that practice gets to me--I'm one who believes in 'noblesse oblige'..with Rank comes Responsibility. pity that They don't see theings teh same way......

I say promote that young man

They should promote Darrel Dochow to Vice President for Sex and Music. When we want his fucking opinion again we'll just whistle.
