End Notes

So, I bid you all adieu. If you're so inclined I can be found here opining on things not political. And you can always find me updating my photos from some other strange out of the way place on the globe, or even just around Texas, at Flickr.

Until next we meet, with hope, as we trudge the road of happy destiny.

Can't tell you how much I've enjoyed all your postings over the years but can understand why you need a break.

The demands of writing a daily blog are similar to writing, producing, editing and broadcasting a news show every day - except you have far fewer staff doing the work. How exhausting!

You've managed to attract some of the highest quality blog writers around and their variety is top notch. From Friday Cat Blogging and Bruce's Tuesday poetry to Numerian's cutting edge analysis of our modern day Financial Pirannahs, it all makes for exquisite reading.

Many thanks to all for a daily dose of protein for the brain.

It is worth remembering that the Founding Fathers were all traitors.

I can't help be a little sad, but all the best to you and yours :)

but I have this sneaking feeling that after a brief vacancy, you're going to have a hard time staying away from this place.

However, if your dream is writing books, you have no choice.

I've found writing books a lonely endeavor. A man must get used to delayed or deferred interaction, or sometimes no interaction at all with readers.

Takes a different mindset than blogging.

Good luck, sir.

I did inhale.
