That austerity doesn't work. If there's one thing you should have learned by now, it's that policy makers don't care about reality.
The only reason I can see is because they are too damn stupid. That's it. Sheer stupidity. I don't care how many economic degrees they have, it's sheer stupidity.
They will try to fix things by doubling down on the austerity. The basic belief seems to be they just didn't make the same mistake hard enough, enough times, for the magic to work and fix everything.
If you just keep doing it wrong enough times, it's got to flip over into being right at some point, I mean doesn't it?
They just haven't gotten it wrong enough times, or for long enough yet.
