...the Sons of Confederate Veterans wanted a plate with the Confederate flag on it and their application was rejected. From the article:

“We believe that the board has discriminated against our group based on the view point of our group rather than allowing for our group to have its First Amendment right,” said Attorney Amy Sabian, representing the group.

The universe is full of long filaments and curves. Almost looks like a bunch of neurons, but spaghetti is pretty close too! The picture above is also a zoom-in--there's much more.
