On this day I am very grateful to the people who marched with Dr. King and for Dr. King, a man who combined soaring rhetoric with solid actions to make the lives of Americans across the board better. I can only wish that we weren't living in a time when our rights were being eroded. I'd much rather be living in a time when they were expanding.
