The Palin PregnancyBruce sums it up for me perfectly. I have nothing more to add or say on this subject. Nota bene: Actually, I have a bit more to say. Here it is: enough with this. It's a private family matter. Leave it be. And leave Palin be. What McCain wants more than anything is to discuss Palin, not McCain. If we continue to obsess on Palin we risk losing the election. Why? It's simple: talk about McCain. Talk about McCain in terms of his judgement. That he would rather choose, like Bush, to be surrounded by 'yes-men and women' than people of character who might actually challenge his preconceived notions. Focus on Palin in as much as it proves McCain isn't a Maverick, in that he is less than a Maverick, that he is someone who is unwilling to break with his party, because he is HIS party. Talk about his 7, or 11 houses, while many lose theirs. Talk about his lack of understanding of the real issues facing America, whilst he flies around the country in his private plane. Revive the Keating Five. Talk about his chief economic adviser, the same guy who helped created the housing mess by his dogmatic adherence to the failed ideology of markets-uber-alles. The same man who thinks we're all a bunch of whiners! Palin is a sideshow, as she was meant to be. Don't let them get away with it. Focus on McCain. He's running for president. Let us prove he is not worthy of being president and leave the family issues aside. It's time for this kind of politics to stop. No family is perfect, all people make mistakes. Focus on McCain. McCain equals four more years of Bush policies and possibly a war with Iran. Those are the real issues. Enough with the sideshow. Sean Paul Kelley September 1, 2008 - 9:42pm
