The Oppressed Becomes The Oppressor

I wonder what the Vietnam-era John McCain, that same McCain who was tortured by the North Vietnamese would think about this guy:

Mr. McCain, a former prisoner of war, has consistently voiced opposition to waterboarding and other methods that critics say is a form torture. But the Republicans, confident of a White House veto, did not mount the challenge. Mr. McCain voted “no” on Wednesday afternoon.

That is, he voted for waterboarding to continue, not to end it. Words fail.

amazing what a person would say to become a president.
Just like Bush.
Lie, lie and lie again until everyone believes it is the truth.
McCain is doing just that.
He is no better than a hamburger at any fast food restaurant.
He is being flipped regularly and the the masses buy him.
Please add extra cheese!

repressive governments mix administrative clumsiness & inefficiency with authoritarian tendencies.

Yes, he has betrayed himself. And if he can betray himself so easily - he will betray others without a moment's hesitation. What a horror.
