BoA Pattern Of Abuse?

Apparently BoA is a serial offender when it comes to screwing their customers. I guess size does matter. I have to say, one of the banks most odious practices are ATM fees. As far as I know there is no such thing overseas--at least I've only ever been charged by my own bank, not any overseas, for withdrawing cash. This is something I really don't understand from consumers. The banks totally hose people for this. Why not just cash a check at your local supermarket? That's what I do.

Credit Union sponsors... Other ATMs charge a 2% fee. Ridiculous.

... another's bank ATM. Same thing in Canada.

don't take a percentage, there's a flat fee.

... "Bank of America Takes Bigger Bite with $3 ATM Fee" "... raising its ATM transaction fee from $2 to $3 for non-bank customers ..."

Do I miss something?

Generally I never encountered worse bank fees than in Canada. There is a fee for everything. Transactions, check ordering, basic servicing fee. Banking in both the US and Germany is generally much less expensive.
