The Endorsement Race

As a general rule who endorses who doesn't really mean much to me. But an endorsement like Paul Volcker does pique my interest. I'd say on the margins, at least, Obama scored on this one.

Oh, and the Terminator just endorsed McCain.

I have to say that it caught me by surprise. Volcker is da man -- the only person in recent history that had the guts to do the right thing and wring the excess out of the system, in spite of the pain. His endorsement in the WSJ is going to be a big deal as far as the ruling elite is concerned, I would bet. It's also significant since Volcker was Fed chief under St. Ronald Reagan, albeit appointed by Carter.

I really wonder how much Arnie's endorsement weighs. I don't know that he is considered that much of a Repub by most repubs. He's tainted by a) Hollywood and b) California.

Forget it, Jake - it's AmnesiaTown
