Busy Day: Slow Blogging

Sorry for not being around much the last few days. My new job has me locked in a cubicle all week so I'll do my best to blog, but it might not be particularly profuse. Perhaps several one liners and whatnot.

That being said, spend some time with your families. Turn the computer off, hang out, ride a bike, have a smoke, or whatever. It's all good and the Holidays are for loosening up. So, please do so!

The New Year promises to be fast a furious.

Sorry, I watched "Tin Men" a couple of weeks ago. Love that movie.

any more than that I can't really say as I don't want to blog on their time. This week'll be over soon enough.

in Douglas Coupland's "Generation X" he refers to those cubicles as "veal fattening pens".

YOU, the world traveller, the vagabond, the observer of ancient civilizations in far away places, in a CUBICLE??? I truly feel for you. You have my sincere sympathy. I would die in a place like that. If I was you, I'd bring a bit of nature inside. Place a few pebbles from the beach on your desk, maybe get a small water fountain so once in a while you can close your eyes and listen to the sound of water in between the telephone calls. Just something from the outside world.

Good luck to you. You need it. :D

as to who gets the cubicle next to the copier (very bad), next to the constant yapper on the phone (also bad),or with a solid wall at the back (very good). Dilbert makes it funny, but in real offices, not all cubicles are equal, some are nests, some are hell houses. Hopefully, at least you got a good one.
