Chris Matthews Sandbagged . . .

. . . Ann Coulter, something fierce. It's beautiful:

Because I can't stand seeing Ann Coulter's face on our front page I'm linking to Crooks and Liars, instead of embedding the You-Tube image with her in it. Go watch it at C&L.

More of this, please. Attack the right, keep them on their toes, because the longer they stay there the likelier they are to fall over.

tweety'd have it in him? Must've eaten his Wheaties this morning....

That, and Elizabeth Edwards is now 'the wife every self-confident man wishes he had'. It was said, but I'll echo....If she was running, she'd have *my* vote!!

Chris Matthews refuses to have Michelle Malkin on his show ever again because of what she said about John Kerry in 2004; in fact he kicked her off during the commercial break. WTH. What Ann Coulter said about John Edwards yesterday is definitely worse.
The media needs to stop giving this woman a platform. When you advocate terrorism, why should you be welcomed anymore as a guest than Ward Churchill?

Why does she get the attention? She must be an embarassment to even the most hardcore, serious Righties and she's not nearly as bright as she thinks she is (as evidenced in her Matthews interview).

I think we need a "Vapid & Vacuous" steel-cage death match between Coulter and Paris Hilton.

Well, Ann didn't handle the situation very well, but I can't say Elizabeth did a bang up job either. She ran out of chops despite having a wealth of inspiration and Coulter's long history to draw on. If the Dems can't articulate why Coulter and her ilk should be run out of town on a splintered rail any better than that, they need not worry too much.
