"Aiding The Enemy?"

There is more to this story than meets the eye:

The other charges against Steele, which span a period from October 2005 to February 2007, include having an "inappropriate" relationship with a female interpreter, "wrongfully and knowingly" storing classified information in his living quarters, failing to obey orders and keeping pornography, according to a statement by the military.

Look, the guy may have done something very stupid, but 'keeping pornography?' Isn't that what they got the Chaplin at GITMO on, eventually? (All charges, actually, were dropped against Captian Yee.) It's clearly CYA in case the other case they have against him falls apart.

Mind you, this is just a hunch, but I bet I'm right.

All charges were dropped.

And he's such a straight arrow, I'd quite plausible even the laptop porn was a plant.

Steele, like Yee, is probably guilty of thinking prisoners might be human.

When you want to take someone down, it's a cinch they're in violation of something.

gratuitous italicizing. Step away from the keyboard, asshole, you're going down.

so much more substantive.

Well, in mitigation of my crime - at least it's slightly more stylish than excessive use of exclamation points, "all caps", or "smiley faces" to dot the letter "i" in one's name.
