More of This Please

Can we please have more of this:

Determined to challenge President Bush, Senate Democrats are drafting legislation to limit the mission of U.S. troops in Iraq, effectively revoking the broad authority Congress granted in 2002, officials said Thursday.

While they are at it hopefully they'll insert some necessary language about Iran. I'm not a constitutional scholar, but what, in your opinion, would be the proper legal language for such a move?

Impeach Cheney, see if that knocks some respect for the Constitution into Bush - of course it won't. Then impeach Bush. Order matters.

is always careful to say "the president has said" but I get the distinct impression that he is the puppet master, but careful to let bush think he's the one making the decisions. More and more bush seems like the character (king's son, then the king) in Gladiator played by Joaquin Phoenix.

If Libby deserved prosecution for the outing of a CIA agent, Cheney aslo deserves the same distinction.

But Cheney kicked John Edward's ass and seems to be able to have his way with anyone that gets in his way. I still hold out a tiny morsel of hope for Fitzgerald because the Dems don't appear to have a big enough tool to deal with this guy. If they do, it would be a Murtha or a Webb and the rest of the Democratic party would do what they could to subvert the effort with a bunch of talk about reconciliation and getting along and being civil and not voting as they should.

Cheney don't do civil. It's bats, knives and guns he understands.

If you disagree then give me one good reason he hasn't been impeached.

I did inhale.
