This is why you have a Senate- and Chuck Hagel's performace today should set the standard by which the Democrats should judge the people seeking their Presidential nomination. For the first time in four years, I can see hope for America.

I agree that this his speech

I agree that this speech in its entirety (which I caught on C-SPAN) heavily edited, would make a great contemporary speech or statement for any anti-war politician.
Maybe I'm wrong about Newt Gingrich. Maybe Chuck Hagel could be the nominee.
