I just want to add my support for those out there today marching for their rights. A couple of weeks ago when the protests hit San Antonio I went out and marched with them for a while. I do this because my wife is an immigrant and I have a personal, vested interest in this question. No, she's not undocumented--but she's still an immigrant and being an immigrant in this country right now, this nation of immigrants, is no easy thing. Who am I to climb up the ladder and then kick it away so that no one else can get up it?

I will probably go to the protest at Rep. Cornyn's office today.

The vast majority of these people pay taxes (sales taxes) and work hard. They deserve our respect.
