Damnit

Torture video. Prepare yourself. This ain't nice.

Pisses me right off. I don't know who is doing this or why. But if any member of our government is involved, even passively, then he should be put in prison. We're in a fight for the soul of our nation. The day we allow this in our name, we are dead. Spiritually dead.

From Sean-Paul: This video was hard for me to watch. Very hard. It ain't easy. But I'm with Ian on this: it needs to be seen. People need to be disturbed. We're far too complacent (meaning me) when it comes to the MCA, which I posted on the day before yesterday that got literally NO comments. The repeal of the MCA will repeal stuff like this video. So, if you are wondering why this video is relevant there is your answer. Believe me, I don't feel happy-go-lucky about this; I don't like this; It makes me uncomfortable--very--but damnit, sometimes I have to take risks. And I am glad Don posted it and Ian pointed it out to me. If we've made you angry that means we're doing our job, which is to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comforted. ~spk

Ian - there is no evidence this is torture done by Americans, or sanctioned by America. However while this specific torture may not be American sanctioned, but America does torture. And a lot of people seem to think it's ok. Depending on the survey, sometimes an absolute majority. I think they should see what it is they think is no big deal.

It may or may not be American sanctioned. The reason we front paged it was so that people could see what torture looks and sounds like. It's a lot harder to make excuses about it then.
