Look elsewhere on ZH for news on housing and specifically the stagnant housing starts in the US. No construction work = much less work for immigrants = much less immigrants.
It’s not a difficult concept to grasp, immigrants come here to work and make a decent living for themselves and family. This is why many have long pushed for tighter controls on employers using illegals instead of doing stupid things like building 1500 mile long walls (oddly using immigrants to build it, thus creating a huge amount of jobs for illegals to fill?)
