Magnitude 7.3. Depth 36.1km / 22.4 miles
via BBC – The epicentre of the quake was about 300km (183 miles) from Kamiashi at a depth of about 33km, the US Geological Survey said. The quake was felt in the capital Tokyo, media report. The tsunami warning was issued for the coast of Miyagi Prefecture.

That’s where the media spotlight needs to shine. Caldicot or someone like her has said should those rods fall from their current storage perch 10′s of feet in the air, she is moving her family to the southern hemisphere.
