The DCCC is begging for additional volunteers to help on the last weekend of the campaign for Francine Busby in San Diego to fill Duke Cunningham's empty seat. GOTV really does make a difference, especially in these sorts of by-elections.

I've looked at Francine's position on policies, and they're mildly progressive. She did oppose the war. Her healthcare policies don't go far enough, but they're better than what exists now. The only place I find her policies really distasteful is on immigration. (Yeah, I don't ever support guest worker programs. Period.) However, overall she's a good candidate, and 100 times better than another Republican.
