But it’s only really Equal pay day if you’re a white or asian woman. While the average pay gap is 77 cents for every man’s dollar, if you’re a black woman its 69 cents and if you’re latina its only 60 cents.
Uh, Steve, according to the chart accompanying the post the Latina earns an average of 27,181 dollars per year and the Latino 31,393.
Even if we assume that the two work the same number of hours, on the average, per year, that means that the Latina earns 86.6% of what her male counterpart earns.
