We know they're the most criminal. But they also have to be up there as one of the most bungling in history.

The latest is today's discovery of the State Department's breach of Obama's passport file back in January. Condoleezza Rice found out it about only yesterday.

There's a pattern with this administration.

Our Vacationer-in-Chief was warned about 9/11 but paid no heed. Then when it happened, he just sat there, frozen in his seat, befuddled as to what to do.

Our Vacationer-in-Chief was warned before Katrina struck but did nothing. After it struck, he had cake. Oblivious to the destruction and suffering caused by the storm, he learned of the extent of the damage only after his advisers interrupted his vacation to show him a DVD of news reports of the devastation. And then he was slow to respond to the disaster.

He went into Iraq no knowing there was a difference between Sunni and Shiite Muslims. He failed to prepare for the post-war occupation of Iraq; he had no exit-strategy. He didn't give the troops adequate equipment.

He didn't know about the Dubai port deal until it was done. He didn't know Cheney shot a guy in the face. He doesn't know that gas is approaching four dollars a gallon in much of the country.

Ignorance & Incompetence. In foreign affairs. In domestic affairs.

That's the Bush legacy.
