the blaze – Navy SEAL and bestselling author of the book “American Sniper” Chris Kyle was killed at the Rough Creek Lodge in Texas Saturday, NBC DFW reports.
WFAA adds: Two people were killed Saturday at a resort in Erath County, according to an alert from the sheriff’s office. One of the victims at the Rough Creek Lodge near Glen Rose was a Navy Seal sniper, according to the alert. A warning was issued for the suspect, who was believed to be driving a black Ford F-350 truck with large tires and rims. The suspect was believed to be highly trained with military experience.

It appears the suspect was in court early January ” Eddie Ray Routh, 24, of Lancaster, DWI with open container, $1,500 bond.”

Anyone remember one of the main characters in “The Wire,” the invincible Omar. Omar’s death in the series came to mind immediately when I saw this story.
