Sometimes I am wrong

Was a time I said Rick Perry would be our next president. I never liked the guy, thought he was a phony.

But the constant exposure he's had in presidential debates has revealed a man who is all hat and no cows.

As Cain gets battered by ex-lust interests, Romney and Gingrich will probably emerge as the two faves.

I still like Ron Paul better than the rest but he can't and won't win.

it'll be Romney. Fewer gaffes, no crazy ideas (as defined by current discourse, that is), etc. Mormonism might be a problem.

Romney would have been the sane(st) choice last time around, and he didn't make it in then. I think the same forces that led to the GOP picking McCain will keep him out again, and we'll see a similar scenario where the supposed runner up take Iowa and a couple of other early primaries to win the nomination.
