Won't rile me with that

but I can't help but feel sad. Not for the inmates, as this beats the hell out of rotting in a cell, but for the migrants who fill the cells in their place. I've a friend or two in that situation as we speak, good, honest, hard-working types.

As for Tom Russell, he's a friend and a favorite of Bobby Byrd, my publisher at Cincopuntos (El Paso). Bobby sent me damn near all Russell's cd's a few years back.

Somehow though, I have failed to watch him in person.
