After Filing

Question:
My attorney filed last Friday. I have a few questions: When can I expect creditors' calls to stop? I kept a credit card with 0 balance that I obviously didn't include in the bankruptcy, when can I start using it? What will happen if I get a large commission check (DH has a commissioned sales position) this week? That's it for now. I hope others will be helped by the answers as well. For those wondering, I am not calling the attorney because I have NO privacy at work. I only do "bathroom calls" when necessary.

You shouldn't use it all. There's no bar to using it immediately. > What will happen if I get a large commission check (DH has a > commissioned sales position) this week? If this was a joint filing, the commission check is the trustee's. If not, and you don't live in a community property state, there shouldn't be a problem, but you need to check with your attorney.
