BARF Questions Again
Since the law has not been passed yet when and if its passed will it go retro? It seems even if it passes this Sept and has 6 mos to become law that wouldnt be until March 04. Is that correct? So they are on break now, does anyone know the schedule of when they bring it back up? I have finally found a BK lawyer that I am comfortable with and we are preparing information and retaining him now. We are trying to hold off the BK until Jan 1st. I hope I will still be safe by then.

Under the current language of BARF, it takes effect 180 days after being signed into law by the president. There are no guarantees that this language will remain in the final bill. I thought I read somewhere about the creation of BARF that some congressman or senator added a admenment that swept all BK's in process at the time of passage into the new rules. This admenment then passed by a voice vote?.........Hopefully I am wrong?
