Starting A Business Before Filing?
I've delayed filing my chapter 7 till after I get my fed/state returns back? Would it be acceptable to use those funds (about $1000) to start a small business (Inc.)? I've been advised by by BK attorney to spend then file, but would like to do something usefull with it?

Depends on the nature of the business, whether it is a sham, whether it generates or is likely to generate income, the jurisdiction, the trustee, and the details of your case. IOW, ask your lawyer.
