Can Tuition Count Towards Expenses?
I pay around $400 a month towards a monthly tuition plan. This is a monthly amount that is almost year round and will be for the next 3-4 years. By almost year round I mean that typically in December I don't pay it. Here is how it works. aug, sept, oct, nov (fall semester payment)... jan, feb, march, april (spring semester) and may, june, july (summer semester)... the summer payments are a tad higher as it is broken over 3 months. Anyway, does this count towards expenses?
Answer:
I have not seen tuition challenged by any of the Greenbelt trustees as an appropriate expense. A couple of the Baltimore trustees have raised some questions, however. In which county do you live?
