Calls After BK
I had my Bk discharged in February. I failed to put Cingular Wireless into the BK. The collection agency keeps calling my home and my place of employment. Do i have any recourse in this matter?. I have told them the situation and i have also told them to stop calling. I said " You could call here a million times and i'm not going to pay you. Now where does that leave us?" His response was " We can keep calling you we're not harassing you."

You have to send it in writing-- there's a format to do so, but the upshot is that if you tell them to cease communications with you, they may only contact you once more, to inform you of what they're going to do. Discuss this with your lawyer. Depending on which state you live in, the Verizon bill may have been discharged, or you may have to reopen your bankruptcy to add it. In the former case, they're violating the stay, and should be sued for contempt.
