Chances, Odds On Judgement Claim
I have decided to wait and see about bankruptcy since they(creditors) can't get my house or garnashee my SSDI ck..I am however going to consult with an atty about my concerns but.. I was wondering if collection agencies would fool with taking my car valued at 8.4k and my harley sportster valued at aprox 4k? After all its trouble for them to aquire it and they probably wouldn't get that much out of them both. I owe 30k unsecured CC's all opinions appreciated tia..
Answer:
It depends on the creditor, the law firm representing it, the amount of the particular bill, which state you are in, etc. If a creditor gets a judgment against you, it can attach non-exempt personal property, such as vehicles.
