Failing To Complete Chapter 13
Have been making $310 monthly payments for three years and have two more years before discharge. For multiple personal reasons, I want/need to give up move out my house. Can I move out and leave problems behind? And yes I have home insurance to maintain my liability. Thank you
You have a few possibilities: 1. Convert to a Chapter 7 2. Stay in a 13 and modify your plan 3. Dismissing your case I'd suggest speaking with your attorney about the best way to handle things. It depends entirely on the details of your case.
