Medical Bankruptcy
I had a post march 23 saying Blue Cross recalled money of $111,000.00. Now not knowing any other way April 1 I signed papers to file bankruptcy. Today I leaned that that my employer has sent a letter to Blue Cross that might help. I want to know how far my bankruptcy can go on before I can not stop it, and if I do will it still hurt my credit? That is if this makes Blue Cross pay the $111,000.00 to all the doctors and hospitals.
Answer:
Once your Chapter 7 case is filed, it can be dismissed only if the Court allows it. A Motion to Dismiss has to be filed first. A Chapter 13 can be dismissed at any time for any reason.
