Two Leases With US Bank Chpt 7
I have two leases with US Bank. I am going to file CHPT 7 this month. One of the leases is very far behind and i intend to let them have the car back. The second lease is current and I would like to reaffirm it. Is it likely they will agree to reaffirming one and not the other? or will they want to reaffirm both or reposses both? I obtained the leases at different times, but lady at the bank referred to them as co-collateralized, does anyone know what that means?
Ratifying one and rejecting the other generally isn't a problem. The cross-collateralization issue may impact this, however. I strongly recommend having your bankruptcy attorney review the two leases to see if there will be any issues.
