What Is The Process Of Judgments

Question:
What is the process of judgments and how can you delay or petition them to review to make sure they are truthful and accurate with dates and amounts? Also are they allowed to put their lawyers fees up front in the judgment? Example you owe $15,000 to Discover plus $5,000 for their lawyers fees for a total judgment of $20,000.

Answer:
1. Suit is filed. 2. Suit papers and a summons are served 3. If an answer is filed, there may be discovery 4. If an answer is filed, there may be a trial 5. If the Plaintiff wins, a judgment is entered Whether a party is entitled to attorney's fees depends on the contract that is signed. Generally, credit card agreements provide that if you are sued, the credit card company is entitled to collect reasonable legal fees. Something very despicable about the corporate contracts today are the facts that the contracts are very much not in agreement with the law or the constitutional rights of citizens today. To suggest that a person is liable for attorney fees from a corporation is ludicrous especially when we know that attorney fees are way in excess of the normal wages of the average US Citzen and especially since the corporations are deriving their incomes from the people of this nation. People are made to bear the expense of court fees when they file an action themselves, and there is no reason to suggest that a corporation is deserving of suing for their court costs. This ogreous, greedy, usurious, devourous, unreasonable, and evidently illegal practice according to many statutes should be overturned for the benefit of the people. Also, the fact that contracts specifically state that a person agrees to forego his/her right to court remedies and agrees to some arbitration procedure which is fee-based is enough to judge the contract as being against justice, exclusionary, and against the rights of the citizens and should be enough to overturn the inherent proclivity of the government of the USA which is easily shown to be for the corporations and attorneys and against the people and to the detriment of the people. The current legal system in the USA is easily seen as biased toward the legal profession and the government. When will the people receive the justice they deserve?
