Another Question.
At this point in time, I yet haven't paid the retaining fee to the lawyer I'm going to hire. My question is this: Since I haven't retained my lawyer yet, one of my credit card has a limit of $300.00 in which I'm maxed at. Would it be smart to pay off this card before retaining my lawyer & filing Chapter 7? I'm thinking that at least I'll have a credit card. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Answer:
Chances are that even that account will be closed by the company upon your filing. I had one that I obtained during the filing process send me a letter closing my account even tho I had not included them in the filing.
