There are numerous food nutrition journals that publish on the daily basis in different countries catering to the needs of their citizens. Even animals are taken into consideration for their nutritious food through journals. These journals are generally replete with different nutrient values of foods. These measurements may vary from country to the country. Despite this, the individual situation and lifestyle do impact on suitable nutrition needs. Thus, Athletes need high energy protein levels for their performance and repairing of stresses on their body. The residents of cold environment need high fat levels through the diet in order to maintain normal body temperature. On the contrary, the sedentary worker who works in air-conditioned office does not need that much of fat levels. Thence, laborer, weightlifter, fisherman, clerical worker, sumo wrestler, bed-bound person, and infant will have different normal functioning as per their different body sizes, shapes, and nutritional needs. The underlying idea is the individual circumstances and choices determine body repair, functioning, and maintenance in terms of food nutrition.

Nutrition may also be referred to aliment or nourishment. It is the food supplement to cells and ultimately to the organism to support life. The healthy diet is sufficed to alleviate or prevent many common health problems. The diet is summarily called as the palatability of foods of an organism. The healthy diet contains nutrients of protein, minerals, vitamin, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, and water. These nutrients are classified into two groups such as micronutrients and macronutrients. Minerals and vitamins are micronutrients; while the rest are macronutrients. Minerals contain iodine, chromium, fluoride, iron, copper, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, potassium, manganese, sodium, molybdenum, selenium, phosphorus, zinc, and sodium. Minerals help in normal development of the human body. Vitamins contribute normal growth. They are of "water-soluble" vitamins as well as "fat-soluble" vitamins. B complex and vitamin C are derived from water-soluble vitamins, which activate metabolic reactions, and maintain connective tissue respectively. On the other hand, vitamin A, D, E, and K form fat-soluble vitamins. These vitamins are essential for maintenance of the mucous membranes, absorption of calcium, anti-oxidant, and blood clotting respectively. The macronutrients like proteins contain amino acids, which are useful in maintenance and growth of the body. Fats are concentrated energy, which protects kidneys and skeleton. Carbohydrates are made up of oxygen, carbon, and hydrogen. The glucose which is the major element of carbohydrates is the great energy provider that activates brain functioning, maintenance of body temperature, and food utilization. Our body contains 70% of water that involves in every body process. The healthy diet is comprised of these food nutrients. Different salads, vegetables, and fruits are the vital sources of all these nutrients. Over all, every journal throws light on the importance of these nutrients in one way or the other with an intention to the maintenance, growth and nourishment of the organism.
