Wedding Ring Engraving Ideas ?

Q: time to get the wedding ring engraved. I'm thinking our names and wedding date. Wondering what other people have had theirs engraved with. Also, anyone know that url for that website with the funny sayings people put in their wedding rings?

A:My fiancé and I engraved ours to read: in my ring: 7.6.03 I am my beloved's... in his ring: ...and my beloved is mine 7.6.03 it is a traditional Hebrew saying signifying commitment... we had it written in English though, as neither of us speak Hebrew! When DF and I were first considering becoming engaged, I gave him a silver band of the approx. size and weight that his wedding band would be. He wore it on the appropriate finger as a 'place minder' and to get himself accustomed to having a ring there. He fiddled with it and took it off and on for the first months, but he's gotten used to it now. Of course, she probably should have engraved "put it back on" because I *lost* my wedding ring less than 48 hours after the wedding! It was about 3/4

size too big (I guess I had a fat finger day when I went to get sized???), and I didn't see the real ring until the wedding. I had it on the airplane going to the honeymoon, but it was gone by the time we got to baggage claim. =:O I felt so guilty that I went and bought a cheap silver ring and wore that one. It was about 1/2 size too small...but it stayed on. I kept wearing that ring until our first anniversary as a "training ring." On our first year anniverssary, we had a combo housewarming, ring blessing, and anniverssary party. We re-exchanged rings and I got my permenenat ring!! It is exactly like the first one, only 3/4 size smaller. ;)
