Three Stone Diamond Earring.

Q: This is so off topic but thought I'd share what happened to me today. Probably the ladies here will understand. Took my kids to meet their friends at an indoor playground type place today. Huge place. Spent the day there and also stopped at three stores. I get home and immediately notice my diamond from my engagement ring is gone! The stone fell out. Knew I should have had the setting checked after all these years! I immediately called the place where we were but had to go back and look for myself. My husband basically said 'if it will make you feel better' but I'm sure he thought I'd never see it again. This place is huge and an hour before closing time meant it was also filthy. Can you believe I almost immediately found it...under one of the slides? How lucky was that?

A:You are so lucky!!! Once, one of my gold hoops earrings fell out. I called the fast food place where I had been, and they had found it. Only, the next day, they said it was locked in the office, and then later, they said that the manager had quit and nobody knew anything about my earring. The moral of this story is: don't put rings on the dashboard of your car. Luckily, my wedding ring didn't fall into the crack because the stone was a little bigger than the crack. But one of the rings was my grandmother's engagement ring. I have lost it three times during construction projects and it always comes back. Not one time have I ever looked for it. I just figured it was gone for good.
