Silver Cz Ring, What Are You Wearing To Your Holiday Party?

Q: This year the company I rep for is having a scaled down holiday party. Years before it was always a formal affair. Last year I bought three different outfits so I was hoping to be able to wear one this year. Since the party is casual I decided to wear a dark green cotton velvet pant, a tank, underneath a brick coloured suede shirt/jacket, probably with boot. What are you wearing.

A:I'm thinking of buying this bright pink sleeveless sequined tank for New Year's Eve. I have yet to try it on at work and it is a little loud, but it's appropriate for the holiday where everyone gets decked out and I can always tone it down with a black wrap and black pants. My absolute favorite item for holiday parties and weddings is this Mark Eisen for Urchin vivid turquoise blue sleeveless ring-necked blouson top with pale blue sequins scattered down the middle & across the bottom with tiny aqua beads all over and a little tiny on the bottom that creates a ruching effect...hard to describe, but it's absolutely beautiful. This is my first Christmas I'll be spending with the boyfriend's family, so I need to pick out something festive, yet conservative for the holiday. I've met most of them, so I'm not too worried, but I want to make a good impression on the grandparents I haven't met yet. I went to an office holiday party (casual-dressy-cocktail attire) at the local country club the other night and I wore: *black lace mesh cap sleeve blouse with a subtle floral design on it with a black satin cami underneath and matching black mesh lace tea length a-line skirt with black satin lining. *black silk cardigan sweater *black skinny kitten heel slides with bows on top *black satin handbag with a subtle asian floral design on it (in black) - amazingly similar to the design on the top and skirt *cz stud earrings, silver Tiffany open heart necklace, silver cz ring, and cz tennis bracelet For my own office holiday party next Friday (more casual than this one and held in a home), I think I might go sorta fashion victim-y and wear: *the imfamous black silk Joie knockoff cargos from Mossimo *C&C black scoopneck long bell sleeve tee and a fuschia or salmon pink tank to layer underneath (haven't decided which one yet) *heels of some kind *similar jewelry and accessories as mentioned above
