Permanent Jewellery .

Q: Does anyone know of a good source of pre-cast celtic jewelry findings--charms, beads, pendants, etc? I'm planning to do a line of Celtic-inspired pearl jewelry for this year's round of faires and would like to find some high quality, yet affordable pieces to use in my designs. I've seen things at both end of the price-quality spectrum, but haven't had much luck in locating smaller, moderately priced pieces available at wholesale in sterling, gold filled, or pewter. Any help will be much appreciated!!!

A:The point is, that jewelry IMHO is worn for one of two reasons mainly. One for its looks or impression. Secondly because it has meaning to the wearer, such as wedding jewelry, inherited items, fraternal order rings etc. In todays throw away world there is a trend by some to show a more lasting comitment. Tattoos are one example, and less common is permanent jewelry. In my area a jeweler has made a small fortune on the idea, as it has been excepted by the main stream of people each for there own reason
