Man Black Hills Gold Ring, Gold Absorption ?

Q: A friend told me that scientific studies have recently revealed that the absorption of gold molecules in the form of wearing rings, necklaces etc slows down the rate of arthritis to joints. I wonder if anyone has heard of this and I also wonder if there is any substance to the claim.

A: I've heard of copper absorption thru copper bracelets, but never gold.. but who knows, would make sense I guess if copper does that gold might too LMBO!!! Just last week a lady at work told me about a "miracle cure" for arthritis.. something about soaking raisins in gin and eating the raisins.. she was so serious it was very hard not to laugh in her face. It's funny that you wrote about that! As for the copper, that has been around for years.. I even read about it in an article on the net about vitamins and minerals.. said the fatty acids in your skin react with the copper and it is absorbed.. it could be possible, many people swear by it, even drs.. Copper and Gold ARE minerals that help arthritis.. I'm thinking of buying a copper bracelet, (just in case ) and Hey, can I use this for an excuse for my b/f to buy me some gold jewelry? My understanding is that there was a report of some evidence that people who wore gold wedding rings had had less or no joint swelling and damage in the finger wearing the ring. I don't remember the details. Since gold is so incredibly insoluble, I'd lean toward copper as a better explanation. You see, pure gold (24K) is rarely used for jewelry as it is too soft or expensive. Much gold is an alloy with copper and/ or zinc, which provide hardness and make it cheaper. More copper = rose gold or Black Hills gold More zinc = white gold More oil = black gold, Texas Tea (oops, sorry about that one) Either copper or zinc COULD dissolve out more readily and provide a local source for their anti-viral benefit.
