Tito Not Trained? What About Nasa's Training? Gravity Hospitality Management ?

Q: Tito not trained? What about NASA's training? Gravity Hospitality Management ? In all this disscusion about the supposed lack of Mr Tito's training no one has mentioned the lack of training NASA astonauts have in dealing with tourist. From Mr Tito's comments on US astronauts reaction they seem to have litle in the way of customer service skills. I doubt they have much skills in serving drinks, providing entertainment etc. Their reaction seems very arogant to me. I mean all they actually do up there is go around in circles, is not as if they are actually going some where like the moon, like real astronauts (star travellers). As budget cuts have removed science as a main reason for ISS I suggest NASA astronauts be sent to do some hospitality courses ASAP.

A: - I can see it now: In conjunction with the Johnson Space Center and NASA, the University of Houston's Conrad HIlton school of hotel and restaraunt management announces a new 'Certificate in Space and Low Gravity Hospitality Management'. "This new program will prepare students for an exciting career in the booming area of space hospitality management, which has shown infinite growth to nearly one potentail customer this year," said Joe Spokesyokel of UofH. "It used to be that only engineering and hard science skills were applicable to the astronaut corps. Well, now you can aim for a career in space while dodging calculus! With that in mind, minority and female candidates are particularly wanted." said Prof. Typicalprof. "Astronauts are really big tippers," says intern Suzy Sorority. She is honing her skills at a local NASA gin joint while writing a thesis on "ISS bar management". 'It's harder than you think," she says, "for example, the manager can't just draw lines on the bottles cuz the stuff floats in zero G." - the real problem is that NASA isn't Letting Tito train - he turned up for it when all the other russian cosmonauts did but they wouldn't let him in. So how can he get trained if he's not allowed in the training room? -And the russian with him refused to train without him. That shows what they think and they are far more qualified to offer a opinion . Of course if NASA had any real concerns about his qualifications all they have to do is look on his NASA application to become a astronaut. An aerospace engineer that worked for NASA and has completed cosmonaut training not qualify? Then who is. Glenn4691
