Two well known beaches usually visited by celebrities are St. Tropez and Cannes. Cannes is also home to the Cannes Film Festival, one of the world's highly recognized film festival. Travel back in time in French history by visiting Chateau de Versailles. This palace was home to French royalty where King Louis XIV lived and where empires were discovered. Part of the palace operates as the Museum of the History of France allowing patrons to see pieces and artifacts that make up French history that were once unavailable to the public. France is filled with bountiful places to see and events to attend regardless of whether you travel alone or with family.
