A: I thought it was a hoax as well, but I just pulled this off Excite: LAS VEGAS (Reuters) - Actress and model Lauren Hutton was in serious condition on Sunday after being hospitalized for injuries she sustained in a motorcycle crash during a group ride with stars like Dennis Hopper and Jeremy Irons. Hutton, 55, remained in the trauma unit on late Sunday afternoon and was being treated for multiple leg fractures, cuts and bruises, according to Dale Pugh, a spokesman for University Medical Center in Las Vegas. Hutton, a supermodel despite a gap between her two front teeth, was participating in a 100-mile ride to celebrate the future opening of the Hermitage-Guggenheim museum with art from the collections at the Venetian resort on the Las Vegas strip. Her motorcycle ran off the road on Saturday and crashed near Lake Mead National Recreation Area. A medical team traveling with the group treated Hutton before she was flown to the hospital, according to reports. Hutton is considered one of the original supermodels after having graced the covers of many magazines, and has appeared in numerous films, including "American Gigolo."
