Finding A Restaurant In Las Vegas

When planning a vacation in Las Vegas, you may be wondering where to eat. After all, dining is part of the overall getaway entertainment experience. But in Las Vegas, the choices abound. You can choose from about any type of food you like and there is sure to be an establishment that you will enjoy. Come hungry and enjoy the wide selection of smorgasbord options. Buffets are quite popular in Las Vegas, with swank hotels like the MGM offering three meals daily buffet-style. A local favorite is the weekend champagne brunch. You can go low-scale or upscale with prices ranging from $4.99 to $58 or more per person. Some buffets let kids under three or so eat free or for a few dollars. Other places charge half-price for kids through age twelve. Hotel and casino restaurants used to offer top-of-the-line dining to their clientele, but that seems to be changing in recent years as more award-winning chefs open public restaurants or join private clubs. You can still get a decent meal at the gambling joints, but many believe they have lost their special touch. Fine dining options abound. Many guests consider Andre's to be the best French restaurant in the area. Bradley Ogden's restaurant at Caesar's Palace is another new favorite. This eatery is Chef Ogden's first attempt to open a restaurant outside California. Or you may want to try Wolfgang Puck's Chinois, a French Chinese establishment that offers a specialty menu. As you might expect from being in Nevada, steak houses are common with a variety of entrees, prices, and decors. The Coyote Caf? and Delmonico provide quality illustrations of tex-mex and traditional steak dishes with interesting tweaks and twists. Check the price list before ordering to be sure you can afford the fare, especially when traveling with a family. Many restaurants feature a kids' menu, but some do not. You may want to swing past the fast food stands instead to save a little time and money during the day so that you can enjoy a more lavish sit-down dinner at night. Wherever you eat in Las Vegas, if it's not a national chain, you have a good chance of enjoying your dining experience.
