Travel to London means that you will need to find a comfortable lodging place, probably a hotel, for most. But where should you stay? With more than 200 hotels in central London alone, making the choice will not be easy. There are many factors to consider when scheduling a hotel reservation. 1. When will you be in London? Find out whether a preferred hotel is within walking distance of a tube station or if you will instead need to get a taxi. You also may want to inquire about security in the part of the city in which you plan to lodge. Should you go out at night alone? Are your valuables safe when left in the room during your absence? 4. Which services and amenities do you need? If you need high-speed dial-up, ask about it before registering. Not all hotels have it. The same goes for cable television, in-room refrigerator or other appliances, and on-site laundry facilities. Choose a hotel that offers just the ones you are looking for so you don't end up paying for things you won't use. Staying in London will be great fun, so find the perfect lodging for comfort, price, and convenience. Then take home a satchel of pleasant memories.
